Automatic Daily Prompts

I’m really excited for my consumer Omi, but I have a couple suggestions for features after looking through the app. Forgive me if these already exist, but I am going off of what I’ve seen.

First, the ability to mark a prompt as “repeat daily” would be a huge time saver for people who want daily advice, or check ins, on any given topic or practice. This feature could grant users the ability to gain a different perspective on their daily habits, or it could just make the bot say “Pizza time!” every day at noon.

Second, a “Custom Word Dictionary” could enable users to add slang or uncommon business/hobby words to their bot’s vocabulary. This could enable anyone to get tailored advice on conversations filled with uncommon words, or strings of uncommon words.

Those are all the suggestions I have for now! Thank you for reading, and please have a good rest of your day/night. If anyone has any questions or corrections, please feel free to share.

@fritzkitty Excited for you to get your Omi device too!

Thanks for the feature requests — I think both of these are very interesting, I feel like the Custom Dictionary is very clear — I actually just gave @Aarav Garg a video of a Custom Dictionary idea in another app that I use, that I want to see in Omi too. I’m going to separate that part of your idea out into a new Feature Request.

Could you share more on the Daily Prompt is this a notification that would pop up? This could probably be created as an app but now I’m curious to here more about how you might use this aside from remembering to order pizza 🍕 — how could you forget though? 😂

A little late to the party here but… the ability to create custom recurring prompts (daily/weekly/monthly) that auto-run against your Omi context (screen history, conversations, tasks, memories) and deliver a report — either as a push notification or surfaced in the app. Think of it as a "cron job for your AI." Example: a daily morning briefing that pulls your calendar, open tasks, and yesterday's activity into a formatted summary without you having to ask.
