I'm comparing this against wave. Note or tag, and this seems like a complete ripoff. In the first day of experimenting with it ate up the whole three hundred minutes. Because all it does is listen. It charges you for listening. This is absurd wave note does not do that. You can take a whole file and upload it to gemini, and it'll perfectly transcribe it for free. This seems like a rocket just to get people to join the two hundred and sixty nine dollar a year unlimited program. I wish it would just give me a file of what it hears instead of a bunch of two minute files. This is junk.

Stephen, I know this was a frustrating first experience. We haven’t heard back with the usage screenshot and device details needed to check why the 300 minutes were used or why the recordings split, so we’re closing this Featurebase post for now. Your raw-audio export request is still being tracked separately. If this is still happening, reply with those details and we’ll reopen the post.

Sorry your first day was frustrating, @Stephen Horrillo. The free plan includes 300 cloud-processing minutes, and continuous cloud listening can use them even during quiet periods. The two-minute files may be caused by the default silence timeout, which you can change in Settings → Conversation Timeout. What device, app version, and transcription mode were you using? Do the files split during continuous speech too? Please send support your usage screenshot privately so we can check the 300-minute jump. Your request for raw audio export is related to #5125.
