The battery on my Omi isn't lasting as long as it did a few weeks ago. The last few days it's only lasted about 10 hours until it dies. I turned on the VAD gate, too.
Thanks for reporting this. Omi lists 10–14 hours per charge, so 10 hours is at the low end—but the recent drop from what your device used to achieve matters. VAD Gate controls server-side speech processing; it isn’t a pendant battery-saving setting.
Does the pendant actually power off after about 10 hours, or does it disconnect or show a low battery reading? Please share your app and firmware versions, plus roughly when you took it off a full charge and when it stopped working. That will help us check the change without guessing at the cause.
Once this is resolved, if we’ve earned it, we’d appreciate an honest Google Play rating.
